Your accommodation - is on board a large liveaboard that can accommodate up to 24 guests. On board you have good standards and airy open spaces and cabins. All cabins have their own shower and toilet, TV and AC. The food on board is eaten in the lounge and is very tasty and served buffet style. Fresh fish, vegetables, fruit, pasta and rice are almost always on the table, but sometimes other dishes are also available. Don't miss lazy hours on the sundeck that provide pleasant relaxation between dives.

Diving - During the "Best of the Maldives" safari, you stay on an exclusive liveaboard for a week and dive in some of the most well-known and best dive sites around Male and Ari Atolls. The safari does not follow a specific route. Because you want the flexibility to be able to change depending on the weather and season. They try as best as possible to get a good mix of large fish such as manta rays and whale sharks mixed with diving on beautiful reefs filled with shoals of small fish, moray eels and macro life. Manta rays are common in the Maldives and thanks to the many places where they come to be groomed such as Manta Point, Dhonkalo and Madivaru, there is a great chance to get really close to these big and amazing animals.

The Maldives consists of a series of atolls and islands that are barely visible above the sea surface. From these you can, all year round, experience shining sun, white sandy beaches and fascinating tropical diving.

Here the focus is on enjoying fast current dives and being enthralled by the large manta rays when they come in to wash themselves. Whale sharks are not entirely uncommon and you can see the gray reef shark all year round. Not to mention the large shoals of colorful beautiful fish swimming along breathtaking coral walls. Diving in the Maldives will not disappoint.

A week on board a liveaboard in the Maldives means that you live on board a luxurious boat for seven nights, eat good food, are well looked after by crew and guides, do exciting dives and last but not least, you are part of an unforgettable adventure. On a liveaboard you get very close to beautiful dive sites in a comfortable way and meet fish fish and hopefully whale sharks and manta rays up close.

Itinerary day by day

Day 1
Depart together with Dykhuset from Scandinavia for a flight to Malé

Day 2
Arrival in Malé and transfer and check-in on the boat, departure late afternoon/evening or early next morning

Day 3-9
Liveaboard with full board and up to 17 dives including tank, weights, guide and dive dhoni.

Day 9
Check-out from the boat and transfer to the airport for flight home

Our program is only a preliminary plan that is influenced based on the external conditions that the weather gods reward us with. This means that we may have to move activities and dive sites to other days and also replace planned activities with alternatives if necessary. We ask you to be flexible.
