Henrik Almers - owner

Growing up in Småland in the middle of Sweden, Henrik always longed for the sea. He went on to study marine biology and learned to scuba dive in 1986. In 1996 he opened his first dive shop. In the course of his career, Henrik has owned and run several dive shops and also a dive equipment distribution company.

Heather Almers - owner

Born and raised in Canada, Heather decided to go backpacking after graduating from university. In March 1999 she started in Sweden as an au pair for what was supposed to only be six months. During that time, Heather learned to scuba dive and fell in love with the dive shop owner (Henrik). Within two years she had become a certified dive instructor and had even gotten married.

Ulf Hansen - owner

Ulf is a born entrepreneur, and has a passion for active travel filled with new experiences. He is often newly back from an exotic trek, kayaking trip or other adventures. Ulf is proud to have been appointed entrepreneur of the year.

Daniel Benér - CEO & travel advisor

Daniel grew up in Jönköping and became a dive fanatic when took his dive certificate during a very cold February in 2000. Despite the cold, he was fascinated by the feeling of weightlessness that comes with diving, as well as the new world that presented itself to him. After this he carried on to be a dive master and then an instructor.

Oscar Hedström - travel advisor

Oscar grew up in Degerfors in the deep woods of Värmland. His first diving experience was at the tender age of 10 on the east coast of Thailand, and he was immediately smitten.

Hanna Bergman - Travel Advisor

Hanna grew up in Jönköpng but has been living in Grebbestad, Bohuslän for a few years. She got hooked on scuba diving while backpacking in Southeast Asia

Ashraf - on site representative

Having worked with Scuba Travel since 2004, Ashraf is a well known, and very appreciated face to our customers that have been traveling with us to the Egyptian Red Sea. He has saved more than one customer when tickets have been lost, emergencies have arisen or when someone just needed advice. We call him "Mr Magic"!
