Azores and Madeira in Portugal

The Azores and Madeira in Portugal offer wonderful and varied diving. Atlantic has fantastic diving with many dive sites in Europe with for example the Azores which are sometimes called Europe's own Galapagos. In Madeira you often have visibility of over 30 meters out at the islands and in the Azores usually much more. You can dive here all year round, but the water is warmest during the summer and early autumn. There is only land-based diving here and none liveaboard when it would have been perfect in the Azores. Madeira is a wonderful island for those looking for an active holiday or beautiful surroundings.
