Carpe Diem Liveaboard

Carpe Diem is a wooden hulled motor safari yacht with 3 decks plus a sundeck. The local dive team of 3 with their abundance of experience can cater for any experience level diver and is able to ensure that everyone has a lasting wonderful diving experience. What makes the Carpe Diem further stand out is the service provided by a dedicated crew that has seen little changes over the years.

The boat has 10 cabins divided over 3 decks and can cater for a maximum of 20 people. The lower deck provides for 6 standard cabins, 2 separate staff cabins, the engine room and crew quarters. The main briefing area and lounge area, with a coffee / tea table offering you coffee/tea and drinking water 24 hours a day. It also has a wide flat screen TV, DVD/MP3 player.

Outside of the lounge area there is another sitting area in the shade with comfortable cushions, where you could have your afternoon tea while cruising and taking in the beautiful colours of the Indian Ocean. Furthermore the main deck has two comfortable High standard cabins, a galley and laundry room and another open air sitting area at the back of the boat.

The Carpe Diem has 10 comfortable cabins of different standards divided over 3 decks. The different cabin types are suite (1), deluxe (1), high standard (2) and standard (6). All cabins have individually controlled AC, safety deposit boxes and their own private bathroom with toilet and hot water shower. The electricity voltage on board is of 220V and the plugs are of 3 pins UK type.

The boat is accompanied by a diving dhoni (tender) and a small speedboat (dingy). All diving will be done from the dhoni and it has Nitrox membrane systems, a bathroom with hot water shower and toilet, two fresh water showers, a camera rinsing tank, aluminium tanks (11.5 liter and 13.5 liters) free of charge and 15 liter steel tanks at extra charge upon request.

Accommodation options aboard


The very spacious suite, our SUN cabin, with over 20 m2 in size is located at the upper deck. The suite has a king size bed, a wide flat screen TV plus DVD/MP3 player and an ample closet plus storage space. The 5 windows give a beautiful view to the sea.


Opposite the suite on the upper deck is another big cabin, the STAR cabin, with a queen size double bed, flat screen TV plus DVD/MP3 player and 3 windows overlooking Maldives blue waters.

High standard

The Carpe Diem has two high standard cabins, SEA and SAND, which are a little smaller than the deluxe cabin on the upper deck and located on the main deck with queen size double beds and TV plus DVD/MP3 players.


A total of 6 standard cabins, SALSA, SCUBA, SURF, SMILE, SNORKEL and SKI are located on the cabin deck below the main deck. 4 of these standard cabins are very spacious having a queen double bed and bunk bed. The 2 other standard cabins each have a twin bed and bunk bed and can only take twin sharing occupancy. All standard cabins have portholes.

Price Information!

All prices listed include accommodation on the liveaboard, diving, transfers, and flights from Scandinavia. Marine park fees and fuel surcharges may need to be added to certain liveaboard packages. The flight is an approximate price so as to give you an indication of the total trip cost. Flights are not confirmed until a flight deposit is made, and until this time flight prices can vary on a daily basis. For trips to destinations further abroad, 1 or 2 hotel nights are often included in the price. This is to leave time at the destination should there be flight delays. The dates below only indicates the dates for the liveaboard and do not include flight dates or extra hotel nights. When we have received your request for an offer, we will send you an exact price and dates for the trip that is tailor made for you.

Please note! Remember that flight prices can increase quite a lot during holidays such as Christmas, Easter, school holidays, etc. These increase is not included in the prices below.
