About Turks & Caicos

Turks & Caicos is not so well known to many but here you will find perhaps the world's most beautiful beaches and actually quite ok diving. Just southeast of the Bahamas and north of the Dominican Republic, you are offered a really wonderful destination that often offers very good diving. About 40 islands scattered and surrounded by azure waters. The main island Provinciales or Provo is known for luxury resorts and there are plenty of luxury restaurants and shops.
The reefs around Turks & Caicos are a mixture of wall dives and coral gardens. Reef and nurse sharks often patrol here, sometimes also hammerhead sharks and turtles. Reefs are rich in life, corals, fungi, plenty of fish, frogfish, seahorses, blennies, tarpoons and many different invertebrates are also present.

Northern Atlantic humpback population gather on the Silver Bank from January to April to mate and birth their calves. It is an ideal spot to prepare their calves before leaving the Silver Bank. This reserve known as “Sanctuary for the Marine Mammals of the Dominican Republic” is a unique spot where humans can interact with the whales.

The feeling of snorkeling beside an enormous whale is almost indescribable. When you get eye contact with one, your heart will beat faster than you imagined and euphoria will spread through your body. There are few places in the world where you can experience this unique encounter with one of the ocean’s most incredible giants.
