Diving in Egypt

Diving in Egypt is the obvious destination for diving trips and holidays for most people who dive in Northern Europe and Scandinavia. You can go here all year round to dive and experience the wonderfully clear Red Sea, full of marine life, exciting wrecks and many times you will see dolphins and sharks. This is the most popular destination and the most talked about diving trip among divers in Europe. The advantage is that it is close and it is not so far to fly. Just a few hours away and you are in place to experience wonderful diving in the Red Sea. Egypt is a republic located in northeast Africa. The country has coasts towards the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. Egypt has a rich history and you can advantageously combine diving with snorkeling and sightseeing if you choose to add a few days.

Top diving five hours away

For divers, Egypt is an excellent option. The Red Sea offers world-class diving and it's not too far away. It takes between five and six hours to fly, depending on where you fly from. Egypt is perfect if you want to get diving in tropical waters with corals and big fish, but don't want to go that far. A diving trip of a week works just fine.

Range

You can choose to stay at one of our high-class hotels or diving camps, or to book a liveaboard. There are many options, but whatever you choose, we can guarantee that the diving will be really good. Depending on what you want out of your diving trip, there are options for everyone.

Liveaboard diving in Egypt

You can advantageously book a liveaboard in Egypt. Go under the liveaboard tab and then select the Red Sea and Egypt, and you can read more about the different options and boats we offer. Of course, you can also extend your diving trip and live board and stay a few days on land.

Red Sea, diving and snorkeling

The Red Sea and Egypt offer fantastic diving with sharks, turtles, dolphins and the special dugong animal which is a relative of the manatee. You will also find wonderful corals and spectacular wrecks. As a bonus, you will be diving in warm water with good visibility, and it is a good fit as many of the species found in the tropical waters of the Red Sea cannot otherwise be found just a five-hour journey from Scandinavia.
