The diving - You who go on this trip will experience a very rich marine life. Here there are sandy bottoms with strange rare species of fish, octopus and other invertebrates. Here you will find coral gardens, slopes and lovely drop-offs and even the occasional wreck. There are plenty of dive sites, which means that all the dives almost always offer something new every day. Enjoy the outstanding marine life, try a day of black water diving and the trip also includes a trip to Verde Island, which is located in the strait between the main island of Luzon and Mindoro. Here you will find coral reefs that are among the best in the Philippines. You and others on the trip will have fantastic days of diving and relaxation. There is a pool and a nice dive bar here, which becomes a natural place to gather after the day's dives. A wonderful opportunity to experience social interaction and relaxation.

Your accommodation – You will stay at the Casalay resort, which is a small resort and is a bit secluded, so there is peace and quiet. The rooms are simply furnished but offer good accommodation and what you need to sleep, rest and relax. All rooms have their own shower and toilet, air conditioning and a veranda outside where it is nice to relax for a while after the day's activities. Breakfast is offered in the accommodation and we include full board. There is a bar, a lovely pool and of course diving. The resort is not for those looking for luxury, the luxury is being here and diving but it is very charming, relaxing and pleasant.

Diving in Puerto Galera, Philippines

Puerto Galera is the place in the Philippines that first became famous in the diving world, and divers from all over the world quickly flocked to the diving resorts that mushroomed out of the soil in this small area. It is today one of the Philippines' most popular destinations for divers as it is easy to get here. There is fantastic macro diving here. Reefs with corals, sponges and other invertebrates are home to all kinds of marine life. Fish, crustaceans, octopuses, nudibranchs, flatworms and a lot of other fun can be experienced here. Occasional wrecks and the diving is varied with drop offs, reef slopes and coral gardens. There are also large areas of sand and mud here and there, interspersed with oases with corals and reefs. Here there are fish of all imaginable sizes, colors and shapes, even sometimes reef sharks, turtles, tuna, barracuda and other species are sometimes seen, but also stingrays, eagle rays, manta rays with luck. Even thresher sharks and tiger sharks have been seen in these waters.

The invertebrates, cephalopods, nudibranchs, crustaceans and echinoderms dominate together with sponges, sea urchins and various corals or sea urchins. The diversity of species is fantastic and all dive sites are relatively close so there are rarely long trips. The diving is varied and one day is rarely the same as the next. But with the help of experienced guides with familiar eyes and knowledge of marine life, you will be able to experience a lot of fun and excitement with a variety of strange animals that you might not even have thought existed.

Puerto Galera is a real diving paradise and you can actually go here all year round as the weather is relatively stable and the area is very calm and peaceful. If it's windy, there's almost always an alternative. For those of you who want to extend the trip either at the beginning or after, it is entirely possible and we will help you find good solutions for that.
