February 14 - 25, 2025
Den här resan är tyvärr fullbokad!!
Fantastic freediving - Take the chance and come along to learn freediving in Bali in February 2025. Together with the adventurer and world record freediver Annelie Pompe, you will experience the beautiful Tulamben in northern Bali for nine nights and learn what it's like to freedive.
Freediving in Tulamben, Bali - This trip is for you who are curious about freediving and want to learn the basics to be able to make more fun, safer, longer or deeper freedives. It is also an inner journey where you get to know your body and become mentally stronger. If you have tried freediving before, this is also a chance to deepen your knowledge and safely go deeper. After the course and exercises, we will test our skills in open water, along beautiful coral reefs, perhaps with a camera in hand. Fish and wildlife like to get close to freedivers because they get curious! Freediving in Bali is a perfect place to start freediving.
Your accommodation – Bali Dive Resort offers comfortable rooms with views of the sea or the majestic Mount Agung. The resort is located by the sea in Tukad Abu, just a 5-minute drive from Tulamben and is a perfect location for freedivers, divers, non-divers and families. The resort has its own dive center as well as a house reef that offers fantastic macro diving with lots of fun to see below the surface. The dive sites in Tulamben and Amed are all within a 30 minute drive from the hotel.
Our ambassador Annelie Pompe - Annelie is one of the world's deepest freedivers. She has held a world record and holds most of the Swedish and Nordic depth records. But freediving deep is only a small part of freediving. Annelie's favorite dives are hanging out on coral reefs, meeting big animals and photographing under the surface.

Dive sites around Tulamben
Indonesia has an unusually high diversity of marine life and diving sites. With over 17 islands spread over a vast area around the equator, one can only imagine the wealth that lies beneath the surface of the sea.
Bali is one of these 17 islands and is probably Indonesia's most popular diving destination. With excellent accommodation, quality equipment and plenty of culture and shopping, this comes as no surprise.
In the area around Tulamben, there are plenty of dive sites within a 30-minute radius of Bali Dive Resort that are suitable for freediving. The diving just off the beach at the resort offers world-class macro diving and is a paradise for underwater photographers. Tulamben is best known for the wreck of the USS Liberty, but there is also beautiful wall diving, the spectacular Batu Kelibit slope and colorful coral gardens.
The Amed dive site is also only 20 minutes away and offers fantastic current dives, impressive coral reefs and the chance to see large pelagic species.
