Join us on the next adventure with Scuba Girls and in September 2026 we will travel to amazing Bali!
This time we combine charming Amed on Bali's north coast with the magical island of Nusa Penida, known for its dramatic underwater landscapes and majestic manta rays.
This is the trip for those who love diving. Discover new places and share experiences with a nice group of diving girls! We live comfortably, dive a lot, eat well and have time for both fellowship, laughter and rest – above and below the surface.
Scuba Girls goes Bali is a continuation of our early Scuba Girls trips to Bali and the Philippines which were very successful and where we had a fantastic time and fun together. Become part of this girl group and make connections both below and above the surface.
Scuba Girls goes Bali – World-class diving
Bali and Nusa Penida offer a wonderful mix of diving: colorful coral gardens in Amed, the classic wreck of the USAT Liberty in Tulamben, and exciting current dives at Nusa Penida's reefs. Here you have the chance to meet reef sharks, turtles and with a little luck, the mola molora (lump fish). And of course, the big highlight: manta rays at Manta Point!
Accommodation in Bali
We start our journey in peaceful Amed, where we stay at Bali Dive Resort, a charming resort with a pool, nice rooms and diving right off the beach. Here we recharge with a nice Bali feeling, great dives and time for relaxation.
We then continue to Nusa Penida and Scuba Junkie, a new, sustainable dive resort with simple but comfortable standards and fantastic staff. More adventurous diving awaits here, often with some current and large marine encounters.
The trip is suitable for those who want to combine awesome diving, new friends and a tropical environment in one of the world's most iconic diving areas.
The starting price is based on available flights, prices and exchange rates in April 2025. We reserve the right to change foreign price lists, flight availability or currency fluctuations. Only fully paid arrangements guarantee a fixed price.

Diving in Amed & Nusa Penida
Diving in Amed and Nusa Penida offers a fantastic mix of tranquil coral gardens, exciting current dives and often encounters with large marine species, all in tropically warm and pleasant waters. These areas are some of Bali's most popular diving destinations, and it's easy to see why.
Off the coast of Amed you’ll find colourful reefs with soft and hard corals, plenty of small fish, nudibranchs and turtles – and the iconic USAT Liberty wreck in Tulamben is a must for all divers. It’s easily accessible and full of life, perfect for both beginners and experienced divers.
Nusa Penida offers a bit more current and greater depth – but also the chance to dive with manta rays all year round at one of the Manta Points located here. During late summer and autumn, the period we are travelling, there is also the opportunity to see the strange mola mola (lump fish), which rises from greater depths to be cleaned by the reef fish.
The reefs around Penida are also home to reef sharks, tuna, schools of barracuda and sometimes eagle rays. The diving here is a bit more challenging with currents and cooler water but usually very rewarding. You drift with the current along steep reefs covered in coral, while life just explodes around you.
Here, large marine animals coexist with small invertebrates and fish in a fantastic mix and cascade of colors and shapes. Bali delivers both the grand and the beautiful up close.
Itinerary day by day
Day 1
We are leaving Scandinavia and flying to Bali. We will all converge on the way to or in Bali.
Day 2
Arrival in Bali and transfer to our first accommodation in Amed for check-in and preparation for the coming days.
Day 3 – 6
Four days of on-site diving with two dives per day included. Free afternoon with time to relax, practice pool diving, shop, get a massage, or dive more – you name it!
One afternoon and evening there will be a joint activity and then a cozy dinner together.
Day 7
Now we head to the island of Nusa Penida. Transfer to the next resort for the final part of the trip. Here we check in and then go out for dinner.
Day 8-11
Another four days of diving with two dives per day are also included at Nusa Penida. The rest of the time we visit restaurants, bars, try a little shopping or just enjoy beautiful beaches and enjoy the sunsets. Some day, probably the last, there will be a trip to visit some of the beautiful places on western Nusa Penida.
Day 12
Check-out and transfer back to Bali airport and flight on to Scandinavia or for those who wish to extend their trip, the adventure continues. Contact us and we will put together a proposal for you.
