Captain Don's Habitat on Bonaire is located directly on the sea just north of the town of Kralendijk. There are several buildings here with accommodation in several different room categories. You will hardly notice anyone else except when you are diving or eating. Divers from all over the world come here and many go here again and again. The dive resort is really fantastic in the way that it really offers diving freedom. Unlimited land diving and the house reef is really good. For those who wish to rent a car, there is a car rental right at the resort and you can also do boat dives.
The house reef at Captain Don's Habitat here on Bonaire is very good for diving and here you will find lots of different species of fish, sponges, corals and much more. There is also a small wreck on the house reef which is home to many species.
For those who want to try their hand at filming and photographing underwater, there are probably few places in the world that make it as easy as right here. Go up and look at your pictures and if you want to retake them, just jump back down. The house reef is also very popular for night dives and the large tarpon are an exciting experience when they come close to you.
Also technical diving
The dive center also has materials and training for technical training for those of you who are interested in training yourself. Also for those of you who want to dive with sidemount, double pack or rebreather and more.
The apartments at the resorts are large and spacious. All have air conditioning, breakfast is included and is usually very good. A great start to the day before the day's adventure begins. The restaurant is known for its good food and service and is often visited by others who do not live at the resort. There is also a bar here, which becomes a natural gathering place in the evenings for many.

The resort has a couple of pools and sometimes with slide shows, lectures and competitions or just socializing. Many people come here again and again just for the simplicity and of course for the warm waters, fantastic visibility and we'll take it again, the simplicity. This is almost like be on a live table even though you are on land.
For those who don't dive, there is the opportunity for some excursions, sun and swimming or just go with other divers and discover the island. Breakfast is included in all packages and there are also a couple of different restaurants, but there are also kitchens in the rooms for those who prefer to cook their own food or you can go around and eat at local restaurants in town.
