Diving in the area around Beqa Lagoon
Royal Davui is the best resort in Fiji to get to the famous shark diving in Pacific Harbour. Beqa Lagoon has become famous worldwide for offering divers a wide variety of dive sites and marine life in the lagoon. Here you have the cathedral dive site, which has become one of the world's best places to experience bull sharks up close. Also reef sharks and often also large tiger sharks are common.
Beqa Adventure Divers has extensive experience in diving here. At Cathedral there is action with lots of fish and sharks that come very close. The diving at this place is very organized. The groups of divers sit on the bottom where they have to keep their hands under control. It really is action with lots of big sharks.
There are also different types of diving with everything from wreck diving, soft corals, swim throughs through caves and abundant marine life. Royal Davui is a perfect base for diving enthusiasts. All dive sites in the area are within 30 minutes of the resort. Some of them you can even reach directly from the beach. Each dive site (with the exception of the shark dive) is limited to a maximum of 6 guests to guarantee you and others a personal experience. In addition to sharks and lots of fish, you can experience various species of moray eels, crustaceans, echinoderms and nudibranchs.
Unfortunately, some do not work liveaboard here frequently longer but the diving is so good with accommodation from land that you will fully enjoy your diving trip to Fiji.
