Sali Bay Tripst in Halmahera is located in the strait between Halmahera and Bacan Island. On the other side of a ridge there is a small village, but otherwise you are basically completely alone here. You get here by plane and then by car and boat out to your island. You have then arrived at a real paradise for divers. In addition to the fabulous diving that can be found in this part of Indonesia, the focus is also on good food and relaxation. The Tripst has its own restaurant that maintains a good standard and the service is good.
At the Tripst, there is peace and quiet and diving alternately, and there is also a small pool here. You have a spa available for nice massages and treatments after the day's diving. Here there is an incredibly rich life both above the surface and below. Here there are hornbills, birds of paradise and various birds of prey and lots of small birds that thrive in the tropical rainforest. You will feel that nature will be close to you all the time. Much of the time you will focus on the fabulous diving that is here in the region.
The diving is varied with big and small and there can sometimes be a strong current in the strait between the islands, which is why you should maybe have some experience before you go here to get as much out as possible.
