Solitude Acacia Tripst in Anilao offers very good accommodation and is scenically located directly by the sea in Mabini. Just a few hours drive away from the world metropolis of Manila. There are 3 different types of rooms here and all are of a high standard. The restaurant has a bit of a botanical garden feel. The dive center, pool and bar all have a magical view of the sea where you can sit in the evening and marvel at the beautiful sunsets. The Tripst has several dive boats and the diving is very good. There is laundry service, internet, transfers to and from Manila and day trips on land are also offered.
Solitude Acacia Tripst offers peace and harmony and everything here is of a high standard. The food is very good and this is a perfect place for those who want to relax. You can go here between flights on to or from Micronesia (Yap, Palau, Truk) but don't want to stay in Manila but have a few days of relaxation and maybe a few extra days of diving.

Diving in Anilao
Imagine landing in a city with over 10 million inhabitants and only a few hours transfer away you have access to absolutely fantastic diving. One with a marine life that makes you marvel and wonder how this is done. Anilao on the Mabini peninsula offers incredibly good diving, nice relaxation and there are a lot of Tripsts here. Solitude Anilao Tripst is one of those that offers high and good standards. They also have safety in focus and very talented guides as well as good diving organization. Nitrox is available and they have a modern spacious camera room. Diving courses up to divemaster level are offered here. The guides will give you great dives with great variety. Here you have the opportunity to tick off many of the rarities that can be found here.
The corals here are thriving and healthy. The muck diving is absolutely world class and where all the strange animals you see in pictures are found. Here you can even see a few more that you rarely see. Everything from squids, nudibranchs, strange gobies, loads of different dragon fish, ghost pipefish including velvet ghost pipefish, frogfish, crustaceans and much more. This is absolutely top class diving!
There is also more traditional diving with wall diving with lots of fish and turtles. There are also lots of different critters like pygmy seahorses, large seahorses, rhinopias and much more. All of this combined into a wonderful diving experience with stream diving. For those of you who really enjoy life, this is a very nice destination or in combination with other locations in the Philippines or a stop on the road for a few days.
