Diving and snorkeling in Mexico with The Fives Dive center
The Fives dive center offers courses, SSI from beginners and try diving, refresher course and continuation courses with various special areas. The diving center picks you up every day at the hotel and takes you to different locations depending on the content of your program that you have booked with us. Here you can experience the reefs at Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos and also out on the island of Cozumel with its fantastic reefs and dropoffs.
For those who are looking for a little more focused content besides fish and reefs and want a little more excitement, day trips are also offered diving with bull sharks (certain times of the year), cenotes or wreck diving.
The magical play of light in the underwater caves, so-called cenotes, which can be found over large parts of the Yucatan Peninsula, is a fantastic experience and something you can try regardless of whether you are a beginner or a specialist in cave diving.
Out on the reef, you can experience eagle rays, stingrays, Caribbean reef sharks and large quantities of fish. Out at Cozumel is the very unique spldid toadfish which is unique to Cozumel and Belize and quite rare to see. In addition there are lots of fish species including barracudas, emperor fish, dragon fish - which should not be in the Caribbean, butterfly fish and several species of shrimp and crustacean. This is just a small part of the marine life on the reef. If you're lucky, you may even see a whale shark or manta ray passing by.
