Trogir Diving Center is a family owned business that has been operating for over 30 years. They have several dive boats and can take care of over 100 divers at a time for both accommodation and diving. A very well organized business that will always be able to offer you the best experience.
For those who wish to take a diving course, the dive center offers both CMAS and PADI training and all training for inexperienced divers is done in crystal clear water right outside the dive center. If you are lucky, you will already meet their “pets”, a pair of sea cucumbers that live down at the bottom, for the first time.
There are over 30 dive sites located between 15 – 80 minutes from the dive center by boat. The coastline is also most beautiful in central Dalmatia, especially the area around the island of Solta and the southern side of the island of Ciovo.
The area around the island of Solta was long protected by the military, which meant that it was previously forbidden to dive here. This means that the area has been untouched for a long time. There are mainly many dives on walls with large overhangs of sponges, corals, gorgonia (both yellow and the very rare red gorgonia). You can also enjoy caves, wrecks and a rich underwater flora and fauna in the very clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.
When it comes to fish life, you can see everything the Mediterranean has to offer: seahorses, catfish, sea bass, lobsters, octopuses and other varieties of molluscs, conger eels, stonefish and many varieties of nudibranchs.
