Can my partner/family and/or my friends come along?

Non-divers are welcome on board all liveaboards, but the cost is the same whether you dive or not. All amenities are available to divers and non-divers, and non-diving guests may if they wish to snorkel when the captain/crew allows. Please note that in some areas the conditions are not suitable for snorkeling which is why there may be restrictions on this activity.

Scuba Travel works with very professional companies that arrange meet & greets and transfers.

After you collect your luggage, our representative will escort you either to your transfer or all the way to the boat, and provide you with important information you may need. When it's time to leave your liveaboard, our representative will be there to take you to the airport, or to your hotel if you have booked this. Then you will also receive information about when your transfer back to the airport leaves on the day of your return journey.

In Egypt, Scuba Travel has a representative who will meet you at the airport, help you with visas and further through passport control.

The boat departs from Hurghada if you are going on a northern trip (Classic cruise, Wrecks & Reefs).

If you are going on a southern trip (St Johns, Simply the Best, Brothers), the boat departs from Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam or Hamata, which is about 300 km south of Hurghada.

The transfer to Port Ghalib takes about four hours by car (about six hours to Hamata). Our representative can tell you where you can buy water or snacks before you leave.

Scuba Travel has tried to include as much as possible in the packages to avoid surprises when you as a guest arrive on the boat. The following are normally included in our packages (for liveaboards in Egypt):

• Flights from Scandinavia to/from including meals on the flight
• All transfers
• Visa on arrival (Egypt only)
• 6 nights accommodation on board the boat
• 1 night's accommodation at the hotel/boat on the last day including dinner and breakfast
• All snacks, juice, coffee, tea, soft drinks and water on the boat
• All marine park fees and taxes (may not be included in some packages)

The last evening is spent in a hotel (shared double room and half board) or on board the boat. This applies to all liveaboards.
