Below are Scuba Travel´s conditions concerning cancellation of a booked trip. All customers have the right to cancel their trip. The following cancellations fees will be applied:
- Cancellation 90 days or more prior to the departure date, the customer shall pay the full deposit amount as a cancellation fee, as well as eventual costs incurred according to 3.1.2 in the Terms and Conditions.
- Cancellation later then 90 days, but earlier then 30 days prior to the departure date, the customer shall pay 60% of the trips cost, as well as eventual costs incurred according to 3.1.2 in the Terms and Conditions.
- Cancellation 30 days or less prior to the departure date, the customers shall pay the entire trips cost.
- Should the traveller not cancel the trip, not arrive at the specified departure time and location, or if he /she cannot participate in, or complete the trip as planned due to the fact that he /she is missing the necessary documents, such as a valid passport, visas, etc., the organizer has the right to be credited for the total price of the trip.
Specific conditions may apply for boat cruises (diving & non-diving), group trips and special arrangements. These specific conditions will be sent at the same time the booking confirmation is sent.
The given information that Scuba Travel has in its written information, ie. the trips content, amount of dives, diving at a special location, is provided under the pretense of optimal conditions, ie political/ governmental decisions, weather, etc. The dive leader or boat captain that is in charge of the trip always has the right to change the contents of the trip due to weather, political decisions, or other acts that lie outside of their control that can affect the customers or ships safety. In this situation, the customer has no right to compensation or refund.
Once a trip has begun, Scuba Travel Scandinavia AB will not refund any unused parts of the trip. A refund is not given to customers that do not complete the trip, no matter what grounds are given.
Group trips: Prices are based on group participation and no refunds will be granted should you, or any other that you are booked together with, decide not to participate.
Scuba Travel has the right to alter the price as per our travel terms & conditions paragraph 2.1.
