Nabucco Island Resort in Borneo is a small resort on a small island in Maratua Atoll. The atoll is located just east of the main island of Borneo. Here you experience a paradisiacal environment combined with pleasant relaxation. At the same time, you are close to incredibly good diving. The resort has a total of 18 rooms in three different standards and you choose a diving package of your choice of 10 or 20 dives with accommodation. In your package for your diving trip, either breakfast or half board or full board is included. You can book more dives on site. Nabucco Island Resort in Borneo is the oldest of these three resorts and was built in 2001. A charming island that we usually call the "Robinson Crusoe" island because that is the feeling you get when you are there. It is a very green island with many plants such as orchids, mangrove trees, lime trees, papaya trees and hibiscus. Lizards and coconut crabs etc. thrive here. Most bungalows are built right next to the sea, so at high tide you can almost step directly into the water from your own veranda. Nabucco is located inside the lagoon of the atoll, so there are never high waves around the island. The restaurant is built on stilts, so while you enjoy your breakfast you can watch the marine life below.

Snorkeling and diving directly at the resort

You can snorkel directly from the resort's jetty. The service at Nabucco is great and the food, consisting of fresh ingredients, is delicious. You can also catch a volleyball match at sunset or if you prefer a little more relaxing activities, we recommend a comfortable massage.
Other facilities at the resort include a reception with safety deposit box, a reading room, small shop and a cozy bar where you can watch the sunset. The bar also has a TV and DVD. All the resort's bungalows have a patio with sunbeds, they have air conditioning, minibar, mosquito net and bathroom with shower and toilet. The hot water for the bathrooms is produced by solar energy.
