Boutique Beach Maldives

Boutique Beach in the Maldives is located on Dhigurah Island in South Ari Atoll. Here, in addition to fantastic diving, you also have great relaxation and an opportunity to get close to the genuine Maldives. This is a lovely little guesthouse with its own diving center and very nice rooms for relaxation, diving and being one with the Maldives. The guesthouse does not have many rooms, so it becomes a very personal atmosphere. On site you enjoy the simplicity of all inclusive and diving. The resort is located by the beach and also has a nice roof terrace where you can sit and look out over the sea and experience the beautiful sunsets over the Indian Ocean while eating dinner.

You get here by air from Malé and it only takes about 20 minutes and then a short boat ride to get to "your" island. The resort offers internet, shore activities, snorkeling and diving. Dhigurah is a quiet island but with a small selection of local restaurants, cafes and shops. The island has kilometers of white beaches and a fantastic outer reef where whale sharks are seen several times a week. It is also possible to visit nearby resort islands if you are interested in trying the luxury life for a day or are in urgent need of a beer or drink as alcohol is not allowed on the local islands.

Relax and enjoy, real vacation

At Boutique Beach in the Maldives, however, you will most likely rarely miss this, as the island offers pleasant relaxation in any case. You come here to relax and enjoy beautiful white beaches and dive with whale sharks and other exciting things that the fantastic waters of the Maldives can offer.

Dive with Boutique Beach

  • Daily boat trips for diving and snorkeling
  • PADI 5* diving center
  • Wide range of PADI courses
  • Nitrox
  • Small dive groups, max 4 divers per guide

The variety of diving in this area is absolutely fantastic. The dive center's location allows them to offer diving in both northern and southern Ari. The diving is close to the island, but it is possible to go a little further also for greater variety. It's probably the whale sharks and the manta rays that attract! Along the outer reef on the southwestern edge of the atoll, whale sharks are seen basically every day. This is by far the best whale shark diving spot in the Maldives and liveaboard boats always pass this spot during their routes. Here you can both snorkel and dive with whale sharks, sometimes several at a time. Boutique Beach is still the only diving center here that offers nitrox and you usually do three dives per day. There are 4 instructors who speak several different languages.

Södra Ari also offers many cleaning stations for manta rays. During the southwest monsoon (June to November) you may be lucky enough to see them circling in large groups with their gapes open to capture as much plankton as possible. The atoll also has incredibly beautiful inner reefs and colorful walls with very rich fish life. Schools of snappers, butterfly fish, tuna, barracuda, fussiliers are common and the service from dive guides and staff is very good.
