Sodwana Bay: Dive into One of the World's Oldest Coral Reefs

Located within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Sodwana Bay is a diver's dream. The reef system here is ancient, colorful and bursting with life. From tropical fish and nudibranchs to dolphins and turtles. You'll dive in warm Indian Ocean waters, exploring untouched reefs with excellent visibility.

But it's not just about diving. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in marine conservation with Deep Blue Conservation, getting hands-on experience with research dives and environmental projects gathering data on Nudibranchs.

Turtle Tour: Magical Nights on the Beach

One of the most unforgettable parts of our time in Sodwana Bay happens above water—a nighttime Turtle tour under the stars. From October through February, endangered Leatherback and Loggerhead Turtles make their way onto these beaches to nest.

We'll spend a magical evening exploring the shoreline with local guides, quietly watching as these ancient reptiles dig their nests and lay eggs. An awe-inspiring and humbling experience that few get to witness.

Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve: Safari Among the Big Five

Just a short drive inland from Sodwana lies Hluhluwe-iMfolozi, South Africa's oldest game reserve and one of the best places to see the Big Five, Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo. Our safari drives take place in open vehicles with experienced rangers who help track animals and share stories of the bush.

Heading further south, we explore Aliwal Shoal, a world-renowned dive site famous for its Shark action. Based in Umkomaas, you'll have the chance to encounter Ragged-Tooth Sharks, Oceanic BlackTips and if conditions are right, Tiger Sharks.
