The first major destination of your diving trip is Daedalus. It is an isolated reef, which is also known as Abu el-Kizan, It is located about halfway to Saudi Arabia from the Egyptian coast or about 80 kilometers out. From here the route continues south to Rocky Island and Zabargad. These two islands are only a few kilometers north of the border with Sudan and offers absolutely magnificent diving. Large overhangs combined with lagoons and surrounded by a beautiful turquoise sea.
You must have at least 50 logged dives to join this tour. It's good if you feel comfortable with balancing and sometimes running water. Night diving within national parks is not permitted. This combined with the fact that there can often be strong currents in the area means that there are often only three dives per day offered during your Daedalus, Rocky, Zabargad liveaboard.
