A liveaboard diving trip to Egypt with the Get Wrecked route is for those who really enjoy wreck diving. During this safari you will dive as many of Egypt's wrecks in the northern parts of the Red Sea as possible. In addition to many of the famous wrecks in this area, you will also dive on some reefs. A general recommendation is that you have a PADI Advanced Open Water diving certificate or equivalent to get the most out of your dive.
Your diving trip to Egypt with Get Wrecked starts in Hurghada. Then the tour continues in the northern parts of the Red Sea to all the fantastic wrecks. Some examples are El Mina which is an Egyptian minesweeper. She is located pretty much just outside the port of Hurghada. The wreck Suzanna is a small private yacht. Normally you try to dive on her too. Of course the more famous wrecks at Abu Nuhas are also included. One of the most famous reefs in the Red Sea where four large wrecks are located on the same reef. Giannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K and Kimon M are waiting for you.
The safari goes towards Gubal Islands and here you will experience beautiful wrecks such as the tugboat Barge as well as Ulysses and Rosalie Möller. Rosalie Möller is in quite good condition and although visibility can sometimes be somewhat limited, the fish life is often fantastic. The entire wreck is covered in various beautiful corals and sponges. Here you dive partly on the wreck and partly on parts of the cargo from Ulysses. The cargo is scattered among the reefs and corals in the vicinity of the wreck.
Normally the wrecks around Shaab Ali are visited. The wrecks Kingston, Carina and of course the Red Sea's most famous wreck Thistlegorm. An impressive British ship from World War II. She was loaded full of ammunition and vehicles that were to be delivered to the British troops in North Africa. However, she was sunk by the German Luftwaffe and has been lying at a depth of 30 meters since then. Hopefully it is possible to do a night dive here. This may depend on currents, weather and the experience of the divers. Dive trips with the Get wrecked tour are usually very popular.

Near Thistlegorm is the Ras Mohamed Marine Park. There is the wreck Dunraven at a depth of about 25 meters. Ras Mohamed is a marine park on the farthest and southern tip of Sinai. It often forms the border where the boats turn and then sail back towards Hurghada. The possibility of getting here depends on the weather but also on how the boat is located in terms of time on the safari. Many of the wrecks you experience during this trip are popular with underwater photographers. Several of the wrecks are covered in coral and are surrounded by large schools of fish. Especially the Carnatic, which sank in 1869, but also the Thistlegorm with its cargo of ammunition, cannons and other military equipment is popular to immortalize.
Your diving trip with the Get Wrecked Safari in Egypt also offers the opportunity to dive on some of the reefs at the Strait of Gubal, the Gulf of Suez and also north of Hurghada. For those of you who are not completely keen wreck divers, this can be a nice break. At the reefs you have a nice mix of steep wall dives and coral gardens. Here the marine life thrives and shows off a fantastic variety of fish. Sometimes you also see different pelagic species. Diving trips to Egypt and the Get Wrecked tour in Egypt is quite similar to some of the other tours but this tour tries to include more wrecks. Regardless, it is a really lovely live board with plenty of wreck diving that is well worth trying.
