The Pelagic Magic Maldives tour is a diving safari designed to maximize your chances of diving and snorkeling with whale sharks and manta rays. These large plankton eaters are frequently seen in certain locations in the Maldives, including the South and North Ari Atolls.
The Ari Atolls are among the best diving in the Maldives although there are many other great places. Diving trips to South Ari can almost guarantee you these experiences. The Pelagic Magic trip in the Maldives normally only runs a few times each year and only by a few liveaboard so book on time.

North Ari Atoll: Dive with Grey Reef Sharks, Maya Thila night dives, several dive sites with manta rays.

Please note: This safari is perfect for everyone regardless of experience. We still recommend that you have Advanced open water or similar and about 30 logged dives to get the most out of this safari. There will be current diving for those who have experience in this. You should be comfortable with current diving, the currents can be strong. All dives are from dhonis or zodiacs to be able to take you to a more precise location for the dive. Experienced divers are allowed to dive in pairs without a guide.

This diving safari starts in Malé followed by a few days of searching manta rays and whale sharks at North and South Ari Atoll. Exact dive sites vary depending on the divers' experience and level. Also, weather conditions affect where the best sightings have been made.

Encounters with whale sharks, manta rays and sharks
