When you go on Scuba Travel's guided group trips, you travel in a group with a person who is an experienced traveler and knowledgeable and experienced guide, (compare the English "cough"). Your guide is a person who loves to travel and dive. They can take care of and help with logistics and guiding at the destination if necessary. The benefits of going on guided group trips include security, companionship and convenience. Because the tour leader can help deal with any problems and coordinate and inspire on site. These people have traveled with groups before and can provide tips and inspiration for future trips and destinations.
Many people like to travel in groups but don't want to have as much focus on a particular activity. Then our guided group trips, which give a little more space for your own time and are less controlled, may be a better alternative than our ambassador trips. Over the years, interest in these trips has grown.
Our hosts for these trips have traveled and dived extensively and are happy to share their experiences and insights, making the trips as enjoyable and fun as possible for you and the other participants.
When you have found a trip you are interested in, it is easy to email us or call and register. Of course you are welcome with questions etc. For those of you who are thinking of extending your trip, you can of course do so. You can leave earlier or return home later and if you want help with extension programs, we will of course help with that too.
These trips are perfect for those of you who are traveling alone but would like and want company. Many people who travel in groups find new friends. Maybe you appreciate simple things like having company on the boat or at the dinner table. Just having someone to talk to is generally experienced as fun. When you travel in a group, it is also easier many times, you have extra eyes at airports. There you can leave luggage without having to lug it around everywhere. You share the experience with others and can talk about what you saw below the surface, etc. Guided group trips are simply trips with someone who is on the trip and in place with you and the other travelers.

There she took her OW at Malapascua in Philippines and ADOW in the Gili Islands. Since then she has had several long trips in Asia and has taken her Rescue in Sodwana Bay, South AfricaHanna's recent trip to the Philippines and Dauin provided a lot of inspiration and she can now speak warmly about one of our most popular dive destinations.
Hanna Bergman has worked at Scuba travel since June 2022 and had an internship for 6 months before that. Moa Thim Virenhem made her first dives in Cyprus at the age of 12 and was hooked straight away. After that, the number of dives increased rapidly, and at 19 she completed her Divemaster training in Malaysia, followed by the Instructor course shortly after. She then spent five years in Southeast Asia, working as an instructor and assistant manager at a dive centre in Indonesia.
Today, Moa is back in Gothenburg and works as a travel designer at Scuba Travel, focusing on sales and marketing.
During Annette's upbringing in Östra Frölunda, she developed an early interest in the world beyond her hometown. This led to her spending several years in England for academic studies, where she also obtained her OW certificate. As part of her university project, she participated as a volunteer in a marine conservation program on the island of Koh Tao in Thailand. MAOW and Rescue courses were conducted through her brother, who at the time ran a diving center in Borås.
Annette has worked at Scuba travel since January 2024 and works as a travel advisor, booking all flights and helping with administration.
Per is an experienced diver and traveler with a great interest in just this. Very interested in geography and biology. Started diving in the early 90s and has visited more than 80 countries privately and through his job. Per now lives in Batangas in the Philippines where he has the opportunity to maintain diving and also help others with arranging and organizing good trips. Sometimes he also goes on group trips and assists. Per has worked with diving full-time since the mid-90s as well as an instructor with his own diving school and with diving trips. Through his job, he has been spoiled to travel and has seen and experienced many places in the world. With his great interest in biology and geography, he combines utility with pleasure, and today Per is probably the most experienced and well-travelled diving tour operator in Sweden. To date, he has visited around 80 countries and dived in most of them. Per now lives on the island of Luzon a few hours south of Manila, the capital of the Philippines, where he can help you and others visit places and hopefully experience what he himself was able to do and more.
After thousands of dives over the years, it is still relaxing and fun to get below the surface and to see new species that he has not seen before is total happiness and the dream is to get a picture of them to immortalize the moment. In addition, the opportunity to spend time meeting people from all over the world and experiencing new countries and places means that benefit and pleasure are combined.
Per helps Scuba Travel where he both puts together individual trips and group trips as well as various administrative behind the scenes and relieves and provides support to the team in Sweden.
