Along for the trip is Magnus Lundgren, one of Sweden's most experienced underwater photographers and ambassador, who will share his knowledge during the week through lectures about the Red Sea and its marine life as well as practical workshops in underwater photography. The arrangement is just as suitable for those traveling with a system camera as for those diving with a GoPro – or for those who simply want to focus on the diving, the community and the experience.
This is a fantastic diving trip and liveaboard to the southern parts of the Red Sea at Fury Shoals, Rocky Island, Zabargad and Daedalus.
Fury Shoals consists of several reefs along the southwest coast of the Red Sea and offers pristine reef diving opportunities in Egypt. The hard and soft corals are unspoiled and a highlight of dive sites like Fury Shoal Garden.
Sataya Reef, also known as Dolphin Reef, offers a unique and diverse experience in the southern Red Sea. The horseshoe-shaped reef encloses a sheltered lagoon with calming waters, while the exterior offers colorful coral gardens, sloping reefs and life. One of Sataya’s absolute highlights is the opportunity to snorkel with the wild dolphins that often gather in the lagoon to rest and socialize.
Rocky Island is a spectacular and pristine reef in the southern Red Sea, known for its dramatic walls, strong currents and abundant marine life. The small, imposing island rises steeply out of the sea and is surrounded by vertical dropoffs covered in soft corals, gorgonians and colourful sponges in fantastic condition.
Zabargad Island, one of the Red Sea’s most classic and pristine dive destinations, offers spectacular walls, dramatic drop-offs and a wealth of marine life. The isolated island rises majestically out of the sea and is surrounded by reefs renowned for their clarity, biodiversity and pristine coral gardens.
Daedalus Reef is one of the Red Sea’s most iconic and pristine dive sites – an adventure for those looking to experience world-class diving. The isolated reef, located far offshore, offers dramatic drop-offs, crystal-clear waters and a plethora of life both on and off the reef.
