Join Dive Team Lysekil to Gozo for a wonderful week of diving in the Mediterranean! Gozo is known for its crystal clear waters, dramatic limestone formations and easily accessible dive sites that suit both newer and more experienced divers.
During the week, varied diving awaits among caves, tunnels, cliff walls and wrecks. In addition, around the island are some of the Mediterranean's most appreciated diving sites with often very good visibility and pleasant conditions. For those who want, there is also the opportunity to dive on the well-known wrecks MV Karwela and MV Cominoland. These are two artificial reefs that are teeming with marine life and offer exciting experiences for certified divers.
At the same time, a great advantage of diving is that most sites are accessible directly from land, which provides great flexibility and maximum time below the surface. Thanks to this, the logistics are smooth and the diving experience is relaxed. The combination of a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, fantastic visibility and varied diving makes Gozo to a perfect destination for a group trip with both experienced and less experienced divers.
Gozo Dive Residence is a modern and newly built apartment accommodation with a prime location in the charming seaside resort of Xlendi on Gozo. The accommodation is only approximately 150 metres from the Gozo Dives dive centre, making it a perfect choice for divers who want to be close to both diving and amenities.
On the roof terrace you can relax between dives in the smaller splash pool or enjoy the sun from the sun deck. From here you also have a nice view of the beautiful Xlendi Bay and the surrounding landscape.

On this dive trip to Gozo, Dive Team Lysekil takes you to one of the Mediterranean's most popular diving destinations. Gozo is known for its crystal clear waters, spectacular limestone formations and varied diving with caves, tunnels, walls and wrecks. A relaxed week of diving awaits you here, suitable for both new and experienced divers. You will stay at Gozo Dive Residence, a modern and comfortable apartment accommodation in charming Xlendi, close to both the dive centre and the sea.
The diving
The island of Gozo is Malta's little sister and above all offers lovely drop-offs and cave structures. Here are legendary dive sites such as the Blue Hole, Inland Sea and Reqqa point. Between Malta and Gozo lies the smaller island of Comino, which complements the two larger islands with its beautiful caves and passages.
Perhaps Gozo's most famous dive site is the Blue Hole and is located where the Azure Window once stood. You go down into a natural pool and continue out into the open water at a depth of approximately 8 meters. Here you come to dramatic cliffs that extend down to 50 meters and visibility is often very good. Another of Gozo's most famous dive sites is The Inland Sea – the dive starts in greenish water and after swimming through an 80m tunnel through the rock you emerge into crystal clear water in a stunning deep blue colour.
Reqqa Point is another well-known dive site that offers steep walls, great visibility and where Billinghurst Cave is one of the highlights. The cave is one of the largest in Malta/Gozo and extends 130 meters into the rock. The dive site is only accessible when the weather permits.
Dive Gozo Residences
Dive Gozo Residences is located in beautiful Xlendi Bay, a small picturesque coastal village on the southwest coast of Gozo, Malta. Originally a quiet fishing village, the area has developed into a popular tourist destination. Xlendi Bay has managed to retain its unique charm. The area around Xlendi Bay looks like a narrow, fjord-like inlet. The bay is framed by dramatic limestone cliffs and crystal clear, azure waters.
Here you have a small beach with both sand and pebbles that leads out into shallow and safe water. The bay is perfect for a refreshing dip. The surrounding cliffs and deep turquoise sea offer fantastic opportunities for swimming, snorkeling or diving. There are also underwater caves such as the Xlendi Tunnel. Along the promenade are a number of lively local cafes and restaurants. Here you have excellent places for a relaxing lunch or dinner by the sea. Ending the evening here at one of the restaurants is very relaxing. Enjoy local food, includingandad with international dishes and a glass of wine or refreshing drink.
