This is a group trip to Abu Dabbab created for those who want the diving in absolute focus. Just a few minutes walk from the lodge are both the dive center and the famous Abu Dabbab Reef, one of the Red Sea's most prized house reefs. Here you will find seagrass beds, beautiful coral formations and a rich marine life where encounters with sea turtles, dugongs and colorful schooling fish are common.
The trip is carried out in collaboration with Copenhagen Diving School who have their own staff on site. It creates a safe and social atmosphere where you get the opportunity to dive with like-minded people. Exchange experiences and develop as divers together. Regardless of whether you have many dives behind you or want to continue building experience, this is a relaxed and dive-focused trip with simple logistics and maximum time in the water.
Free diving on the house reef is included during the week, giving you the opportunity to explore the area at your own pace and return to your favorite spots again and again.

Diving in Abu Dabbab
Abu Dabbab is one of the Red Sea's most popular and accessible dive sites. The famous house reef is located just off the shore and offers fantastic diving for both experienced divers and those looking to spend more time underwater. A varied underwater environment awaits you with coral gardens, sandy bottoms, seagrass beds and a rich marine life.
The area is particularly famous for its many sea turtles, which are often seen grazing on the seagrass in the bay. With a bit of luck, you may even encounter the rare dugong, which regularly visits the area. Hidden among the corals are moray eels, lionfish, parrotfish, angelfish and large schools of colorful reef fish.
The house reef offers diving from shallow water down to a depth of around 20 meters, making it possible to carry out both long and relaxing dives. The good conditions and often excellent visibility make Abu Dabbab a perfect location for underwater photography.
For those who want to experience even more, there is the opportunity to book boat diving to some of the southern Red Sea's most famous dive sites. One of the most spectacular is Elphinstone Reef, known for its dramatic walls, colorful soft corals and the chance to encounter pelagic species such as reef sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks and sometimes even hammerhead sharks.
Abu Dabbab Lodge
Abu Dabbab Lodge is a quiet and charming hideaway on Abu Dabbab Bay. One of of the Red Sea most popular places for snorkeling and diving. Here you stay in spacious wooden bungalows surrounded by blooming bougainvillea, palm trees and a tranquil garden setting that gives the feeling of a green oasis in the middle of the desert.
