For those who wish to have a single room, a double room will be converted into a single room. Diving in the Red Sea and Makadi Bay
Extra Divers has its dive center directly at the Cleopatra Luxury Resort in Makadi Bay. They offer service and courses for those who snorkel, do not dive or are beginners. For those who are certified divers and want to dive or take a diving course and get another diving certificate you will find what you are looking for here. There are experienced instructors who make sure everything runs smoothly and goes safely. Of course, they want your experience at this beautiful dive site to be a positive memory.
For those who dive and are already certified, day trips with diving on board a boat are offered. These boat trips take half to a full day depending on the distance to the dive sites. If you would rather enjoy diving on the house reef, you can choose unlimited house reef diving for your diving trip. It is of course also possible to rent diving equipment on site for those who do not have their own diving equipment.
If you're lucky on your dives, you can see both dolphins and large ones sea turtles. Here you can experience various groupers, butterflyfish, anthias, snappers, dragonfish and crocodilefish among many other things. There are also lots of small things like sea moths (pegasus), ghost pipefish and nudibranchs.
The beautiful mix of marine life makes this place perfect for photography. Towards the end of the dive you can finish in the shallower water. At the sea grass there you can sometimes see green turtles and rays. Itinerary day by day
Day 1
You leave Scandinavia and fly to Hurghada. Meeting and transfer to your accommodation.
Day 2 - 6
The Open Water course normally starts the day after arrival and lasts for three to four days with both calm water training and ocean dives. Before the trip you will have access to e-learning, so you can go through the theory in advance. One day is available and you may choose to book an additional day of diving, as a certified diver.
Day 7
A final free day when you can rest and relax or use it as a spare day. Enjoy the sun, swim or massage, perhaps take a day trip on land to experience something more.
Day 8
It's time to head home again after a magical holiday in Egypt and the Red Sea at Cleopatra luxury resort. You landaI'm back home after a trip filled with diving and great memories.
