A liveaboard from Komodo to Alor. This is a trip for those who want to experience Indonesia's absolute best diving. We start in legendary Komodo with its manta rays, sharks and teeming reefs and sail on towards the pristine waters of Alor - a place that still feels like a secret among divers. Here, colorful coral walls, adrenaline-filled stream dives and exciting muck diving with lots of little things to discover await.

This will be a journey filled with diving joy, community and experiences you will carry with you for a long time.

We start our trip by boarding Ilike in Labuan Bajo for diving in Komodo National Marine Park. One of the world's most spectacular diving destinations, located in the heart of the Coral Triangle and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, nutrient-rich currents from both the Flores Sea and the Indian Ocean meet, creating an incredible diversity of life below the surface.

The journey continues eastwards towards Alor, one of Indonesia's most pristine dive sites. Here you'll find vertical walls, anemone gardens, world-class muck diving and the opportunity to dive at an active volcano where hot bubbles rise from the seabed.

On land, a warm and authentic cultural experience awaits. You can visit traditional villages, participate in dance ceremonies and meet the happy children of Pura Island, who show off their freediving skills with homemade wooden goggles.

The diving

Diving in Komodo and Alor is like stepping into another world – a place where every dive offers something new and unexpected.

The northern parts of Komodo offer clear waters and large schools of fish, while the southern Komodo impresses with dramatic underwater terrain, cooler temperatures and intensely colored corals. Here, the manta rays' cleaning stations are a must, as they majestically glide over divers in the nutrient-rich currents.

Further east, Alor awaits, one of Indonesia's most pristine dive sites. Here, the visibility is crystal clear, the reefs pristine and the underwater life incredibly diverse. You can dive along steep walls, volcanic slopes and in world-class muck dives filled with rare critters such as rhinopia, frogfish, nudibranchs, ghost pipefish and seahorses.

Nutrient-rich currents move through the Pantar Strait, attracting larger species – sometimes whales, dolphins, sharks and, under the right conditions, even thresher sharks and hammerhead sharks.

Whether you're chasing the big blue or the small macro life, diving here is an experience that awakens the feeling of discovering the ocean anew, untouched, alive and endlessly fascinating.
