Nusa Penida is a fairly large island that offers beautiful nature and beautiful views. In addition to enjoying the peace and views of the sea, a tip is to rent a motorbike or book a driver to take you around the island. Also a boat to one of the smaller sisters Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan is really worth experiencing too. Enjoy the nature, the sea, the dramatic rock formations, beaches and mangroves.
Diving and snorkeling, Manta Point and Crystal bay
Of course, diving and snorkeling are available here and the dive center can pick you up when you book diving in advance. They will take you to exciting places such as Manta point, a cleaning station that is very shallow and that attracts mantas daily that you can get very close to. Crystal bay with its cold water offers a few months a year the opportunity to see lumpfish aller Mola mola when the tour is on. These very strange animals are a fantastic experience.
Some of the reefs sometimes attract large fish and marine mammals such as whale sharks, dolphins and pilot whales, but it takes a lot of luck. The reefs are rich in marine life and there is also much to see and experience for snorkelers.
The accommodation offers breakfast in its packages but there is a good restaurant here. There you will be treated to really good food with influences from both Asian and European cuisine. A view of the sea as the sun sets and dinner with a good drink is as nice and relaxing as can be.
Nusa Penida is a quiet and peaceful island, where couples, families, groups, divers, snorkelers or adventurers can go. The easiest way to get around the island is by motorbike, as mentioned, but transport can also be arranged to experience these lovely islands and the wonderful diving.

Diving in Nusa Penida, Bali
The diving out here is done almost exclusively around Nusa Penida. Dive sites such as the coral garden which is teeming with marine life with corals in all its forms as well as rays, pusher fish, puffer and trunk fish, dragon fish, bumphead parrot fish, clown fish, scorpion fish, emperor fish, barracuda and also various species of sharks. Perhaps what has made Nusa Penida most famous for diving is probably that during the season it is possible to see and dive with Mola mola or lumpfish. This is truly a strange fish and well worth trying at least one day's diving in season to get the chance to see these very strange fish.
But there is also exciting current diving on the north side where there is a chance to see different species of shark including whale sharks, dolphins and much more. The western and southern parts are also known for offering diving with manta rays. There are often strong currents and winds in the area here and this can mean that diving is not possible every day of the year, but when it is, it is outstanding diving with these angels of the sea. Everything from one or two manta rays up to around thirty come in and allow themselves to be cleaned and treated at the cleaning stations that are here. Here, stingrays and other smaller cartilaginous fish are often found among the rock blocks.
It is possible to do these dives with Mola mola and manta rays as day trips but we suggest staying out here for a few nights because there is a lot to experience both below and above the surface. Contact us and we will book you with one of Bali's best diving centers and accommodations.

You leave Scandinavia and fly to Bali.
Day 2-3
Arrival in Bali and transfer to Kura Paradiso Hotel for one night's accommodation at Moracea resort in Khao Lak.* 09 nights accommodation including full board. Please note that the transfer is pre-booked but is paid locally on site.

Transfer Pramana Natura resort on Nusa Penida by car and boat 08 nights accommodation including breakfast

It's time to head home again after a magical holiday in Indonesia, Bali and Nusa Penida, transfer to Denpasar and flight back to Scandinavia.
