Snorkeling in the Maldives at Boutique Beach resort
For those who want to experience snorkeling in the Maldives, Boutique Beach on the island of Dhigurah in the southern Ari atoll is a wonderful choice. Here, in addition to fantastic snorkeling and diving, you also have great relaxation and an opportunity to get close to the genuine Maldives. This is a lovely little guesthouse with its own dive center. A perfect destination for relaxation, diving and being one with the Maldives. The guesthouse does not have many rooms so it has a very personal atmosphere. On site you enjoy simplicity with full board, snorkeling and diving. The accommodation is located on the beach and also has a nice roof terrace. Here you can sit and look out over the beautiful sunsets over the Indian Ocean.
You get here by plane or speedboat from Malé and it only takes about 20 minutes by plane or 1,5 hours by boat. Then a short boat ride to get to “your” island. The resort offers internet, land activities, snorkeling and diving. Dhigurah is a quiet island but with a small selection of local restaurants, cafes and shops. The island has kilometers of white beaches and a fantastic outer reef where you can normally see whale sharks several times a week. You can also visit nearby resort islands if you are interested in trying the luxury life for a day. If you are in urgent need of a beer or drink then alcohol you can visit those islands as alcohol is not allowed on the local islands.

This is one of the world's most famous places for whale sharks and many liveaboards pass here on their routes. But it's not just whale sharks that you'll find here. You'll also often see manta rays, lots of fish, beautiful coral reefs and even wreck diving.
For those of you who want to experience comfortable, easy and good snorkeling in the Maldives, Boutique Beach is a very good choice because they really focus on you as a snorkeler, just as much as on divers.

Snorkeling and Diving in the Maldives
The variety of snorkeling and diving in the area is good. The dive center's location means that they can offer diving in both the North and South Ari Atoll. The diving is close to the island, but there is the option of going a little further for greater variety. It is probably the whale sharks and mantas that attract you! Along the outer reef on the southwestern edge of the atoll, whale sharks are seen practically every day. This is perhaps one of the Maldives' absolute best places to snorkel and dive to see whale sharks. Many liveaboards pass this place during their routes. Here you can both snorkel and dive with whale sharks, sometimes several at a time. There are 4 instructors here who speak several different languages.
South Ari also offers many grooming stations for manta rays. During the southwest monsoon (June to November) you may be lucky enough to see them circling in large groups with their mouths open to catch as much plankton as possible. The atoll also has incredibly beautiful inner reefs and colorful walls with a very rich fish life. Schools of snappers, butterflyfish, tuna, barracuda, fussiliers are common and the service from dive guides and staff is very good for diving and snorkeling. Right off the beach you may be lucky enough to see octopus, small reef sharks and turtles coming right up to the beach.
Boutique Beach Resort
Boutique beach is a lovely little guesthouse with its own dive centre. Boutique beach does not have many rooms so it has a very personal atmosphere. On site you enjoy simplicity with full board and plenty of time to snorkel and relax. You have the beach right outside and there is also a nice roof terrace.
Beondet offers internet, land activities, snorkeling and diving. Dhigurah is a quiet island but with a small selection of local restaurants, cafes and shops.

Itinerary day by day
Day 1
You leave Scandinavia and fly to Malé.
Day 2
Today landaAre you in the Maldives and you have a speedboat transfer to Dhigurah Atoll and your accommodation.
Day 3-8
A total of 7 nights accommodation and you have a total of 5 days of snorkeling program. Plenty of time to rest, enjoy the beach and your vacation.
Day 9
It's time to head home again after a magical holiday in the Maldives and Boutique Beach. You will be transferred by boat back to Malé airport and your international flight.
Day 10
TravelandaI'm back home after a trip filled with diving and great memories.
