Join us for a fantastic week aboard Sea Serpent Grand and experience some of the Red Sea's most classic dive sites during the popular Wrecks & Reefs route. Together with Oslofjord Diving Center A rich diving safari awaits you, where exciting wrecks, colorful coral reefs, rich marine life and great company on board are in focus.

Living aboard a liveaboard is one of the best ways to explore the Red Sea. During the week, the crew and experienced guides will ensure that you are comfortable and have a first-class experience. At the same time, you will enjoy comfortable accommodation, delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere between dives.

The route takes you to some of Egypt's most famous dive sites in the northern parts of the Red Sea. Here you will find historic wrecks such as the Thistlegorm, Rosalie Moller and the Abu Nuhas wrecks. At the same time, you will dive on spectacular coral reefs and well-known areas such as Ras Mohamed. Here you will encounter a rich marine life with large schools of fish, dolphins and larger pelagic species.

Between dives you can relax on the sun deck. Enjoy the view of the crystal clear sea and share the day's experiences with other diving enthusiasts. The combination of high comfort, first-class diving and the special community that arises on board means that a week on a liveaboard often becomes a memory for a lifetime.

The trip is suitable for both those who have previous experience of liveaboarding and those who want to try it for the first time. With a modern and spacious boat, professional guides and some of the Red Sea's absolute best dive sites, everything is set for an unforgettable adventure.

Previous knowledge

To get the most out of this trip, it is recommended that you have approximately 30-50 logged dives. The minimum requirement is a basic certificate. However, we recommend PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent as some dive sites may involve slightly deeper or more advanced dives.

The diving

This week is filled with diving on amazing reefs, large exciting wrecks and dramatic reef systems with tunnels and caves. Experience the fantastic play of light in this part of the Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted by the reefs and marine life. For those who have a little more experience and want to experience a liveaboard and diving trip to the northern parts of the Red Sea (Egypt) with experienced dive guides, this trip is a real experience! Non-stop flights from to Egypt and from the airport transfer directly to your liveaboard - Take the chance and experience a magical week in the Red Sea as November descends on the Nordics. Exciting wrecks such as the Thistlegorm, Chrisoula, Kimon and more, plus fascinating marine life.

Sea Serpent Grand is a 34 meter long boat that has room for up to 22 guests spread over eleven double cabins. All cabins have a private bathroom and of course air conditioning. The lounge is spacious and is equipped with TV, DVD and sound system. The diving deck offers plenty of space and there is also an inviting sun deck to relax on.

For those who are nitrox certified, Nitrox is included during the week.

Itinerary day by day

Day 1

After arriving in Hurghada, transfer to Sea Serpent Grand awaits. The evening begins with check-in, safety briefing and a shared dinner before the week's big diving adventure begins.

Day 2-7

Six days of fantastic diving await you on some of the Red Sea's best reefs and wrecks. Up to four dives per day are offered, with experienced guides leading the way to the area's top dive sites.

Day 8

After a final breakfast on board, it's time to check out and head to the airport for your flight home.

Our program is only a preliminary plan that is influenced by the external conditions that the weather gods reward us with. This means that we may need to move activities and dive sites to other days and also replace planned activities with alternatives if necessary. Some flight schedules may require 1 night before and/or 1 night after the liveaboard in Hurghada. We ask that you be flexible.
