Dive City Apartments
A good and cheap alternative to a hotel is to stay in an apartment during the holiday. There are two different sized apartments to choose from; apartments for 2-3 people and apartments for 4-5 people. We recommend this type of accommodation not least for families and travelers with a slightly smaller budget.
Each apartment has its own kitchen fully equipped with kitchenware, table, chairs, fridge and oven. Grocery stores are within walking distance, and the tap water is drinkable. There is also a TV and a sofa, and of course also a bathroom with shower and toilet.
The apartments are in the same building as the diving centre, which means you don't have to think about transfers to and from the diving centre. In the surrounding area there are both restaurants and shops.

Dive center - Dive City
The diving center Dive City is located in Crikvencia, about 35 kilometers southeast of the city of Rijeka. The conditions for diving in the northern parts of the Adriatic Sea are ideal and there are a variety of exciting dive sites to choose from, ranging from wrecks to ledges, caves, tunnels and reefs. Visibility is good and varies from 5 to 30+ depending on weather and dive site and there are few or no currents and relatively warm water temperatures in summer.
Dive City is a 5-star PADI center and a NAUI instructor training facility. The diving center cooperates with several of the major training chains in diving and the staff at the diving center has international experience. Dive City is a professional, family-owned center that offers diving training and high-class diving - all with a high level of personal service.
The diving center offers a wide range of courses for both beginners and more experienced divers. Day trips with the dive boat are very popular as you can eat lunch, snorkel, sunbathe and swim between dives and non-divers are also welcome to come along on the day trips. Between dives there is also a chance to do a "try-on-dive" with an instructor for those who are curious about trying diving for the first time.
In order to dive in Croatia, the law states that you must have a diving permit. All divers with approved diving training can buy a permit at the diving center for approx. 15 Euro and the permit is valid for 1 year.
