Diving Philippines, Malapascua and Anda autumn 2025

Diving Philippines, Malapascua/Anda, big and small and wonderful diving. The trip takes place in autumn 2025. Dates 24 October - 07 November. 

Experience two paradises in the Philippines - Just north of Cebu in the Visayas is the paradise island of Malapascua which is one of the world's most famous places to see the incredibly beautiful thresher shark and it is almost guaranteed to see them early in the morning. There is also fantastic macro life here, beautiful coral walls and coral gardens and much more to experience. In the evenings you enjoy beautiful sunsets by the beach and relax. A maximum of 14 places are available and the accommodation is in a double room including breakfast. 10 dives are pre-booked and it is possible to book more diving on site.

Anda is located on the eastern part of the very beautiful island of Bohol in the Philippines and is not yet developed for diving and mass tourism has not yet found its way here. The area around Anda is known for its beautiful reefs and wonderful mixed diving. Sometimes larger animals appear here such as whales, dolphins, whale sharks and various types of rays but also lots of other fish and turtles. The macro life is rich and the corals are generally in good condition with different types of diving in coral gardens, sandy bottoms and wall dives. The diving takes place from a traditional Filipino bangka boat and is simple. Tank and weights are included and we have booked 10 dives in advance. More diving can of course be booked on site. A diving-free day does not have to be spent on the beach, but there is the opportunity to take a trip out into the jungle and see ghost animals and why not jump down and swim in a waterfall and cool off in the wild. 

Tips and ideas about travel and socializing - On the trip, our ambassador Per will be there and he will be able to tell you and give tips and ideas about many different and exciting diving destinations you might want to visit in the future. With his in-depth knowledge of seasons, marine life and first-hand information not only about diving and travel but also marine life and what can happen when traveling, you can learn a lot and get ideas and knowledge about where you want to go on your next dive trip.

Your accommodation - I Malapascua is the accommodation simple but functional and with a lovely location directly on the beach. In the evenings, enjoy the gentle breeze and the view out to sea from the beach bar or your terrace. Breakfast is included and we buy other meals on site. IN The spirit of Bohol is the accommodation also simple but comfortable and this includes half board. The resort is located directly on the beach and here there is a restaurant and bar or choose the view terrace with a magical view out over the Bohol Sea.

Ambassador Per Lagerberg - is an experienced diver and traveler with a great interest in travel and diving. Very interested in geography and biology. Started diving in the early 90s and has privately and through his job as a travel salesman visited more than 80 countries over the years and now lives on the island of Luzon south of Manila, the Philippines where he works as before and has the opportunity to maintain the diving and also help arrange trips and sometimes go on group trips to assist and tell more about fun destinations and give tips and ideas about trips.

Filippi Erna

You start your journey by flying to Cebu City and here you will collect your luggage and go through immigration and then proceed to the airport hotel. Here we stay one night and the next morning, after breakfast, drive up to the northern part of the island of Cebu and continue by boat the last bit to our resort. Here we have breakfast and 10 pre-booked dives including diving with thresher sharks at Kimod shoal.

After a few lovely days on this small island, we return to Cebu to take the ferry to the island of Bohol. Transfer to our diving resort and for 7 days / 6 nights we stay here with breakfast and 10 pre-booked dives. More can of course be booked on site.
 
You will of course be able to dive and experience a lot here with everything from frogfish, ghost pipefish, scorpion fish, nudibranchs, moray eels, octopuses, turtles, beautiful reefs, artificial reefs, Water that can offer exciting surprises so - join us to some of our favorite places in the Philippines , two of many Philippine paradises!!

Itinerary - Day by day

Day 1
We leave Scandinavia and fly to Cebu in the Philippines 

Day 2
Arrival and transfer to hotel on Mactan Island one night before transfer to Malapascua the next day

Day 2 - 3
01 night accommodation part in a double room including breakfast

Day 3
After breakfast we will be picked up and go by car and ferry to Malapascua and the diving resort

Day 3 - 9
06 nights accommodation part in a double room including breakfast.
10 dives pre-booked including tank, weights, guide, boat
Marine park fees are added on site

Day 9
Transfer to Cebu and on by ferry to Tagbilaran and the island of Bohol and then transfer to our accommodation in Anda

Day 9 - 15
06 nights accommodation part in a double room including half board.
10 dives pre-booked including tank, weights, guide, boat

Day 18
Transfer to the airport, flight to Manila where we change flights and late journey home or continued adventure for those who wish to extend

Our program is only a preliminary plan that is influenced based on the external conditions that the weather gods reward us with. This means that we may have to move activities and dive sites to other days and also replace planned activities with alternatives if required. We ask you to be flexible.
