At Apo Reef you will find exciting wall diving, fast-paced current dives and corals in very good condition. Here there is great variety in the dive sites and interspersed with large fish. Sometimes you can see and dive with schools of hammerhead sharks, eagle rays. Also, lots of shoals of fish with snappers, barracuda, bumphead parrotfish, tuna and much more. You also often see manta rays and various species of reef sharks that patrol along the reefs. Apo Reef is sometimes called "little Tubbataha". The reefs are truly amazing and often offer surprises. It is common for large pelagic species to sometimes come into the reefs and show off.

Coron and wreck diving

After Apo Reef, the boat heads for Coron and the island of Busuanga in northern Palawan. The diving here is widely known and renowned for its World War II wrecks. Roughly 20 ships were sunk here on the second of September 1944. Roughly half of the wrecks are today good diving targets and lie between just under ten meters deep and down to roughly 40 meters. Visibility in Coron is rarely fantastic and usually varies between five and thirty meters. All depending on currents, winds, location and the judgment of previous divers..... Busuanga Island also offers a rich marine life and during your days here you will see a lot of interesting and fun marine life.

After the cruise and the last day's diving, you will return to Puerto Galera. There your diving adventure continues or if you choose to fly home. You can also stop in a big city on the way back. This tour is perfect for those who like wrecks and slightly larger animals, lots of fish and exciting diving. The tour is usually only offered in the first months of the year before your liveaboard sails towards Tubbataha Reef. There they will run liveaboards in the coming months and offer the fantastic diving there.
