Weather: Cape Town – that is, the south-west corner of South Africa, has a mostly dry Mediterranean climate with lots of sun. The southeast coast is the wettest part of the country, while the rest of South Africa has a subtropical climate.
Tip: About 10% of the bill is usual. In Tanzania it is customary to tip guides, waiters, parking attendants and other service personnel. There is an expectation of tipping, but it's up to you how much you want to tip.
