Indian Ocean

The vast Indian Ocean is located between Africa, Asia and Australia. It is the youngest and the third largest of the world's oceans. The Indian Ocean comprises approximately one fifth of the Earth's total ocean surface. Around this huge ocean there are several exciting and really good destinations to experience diving at. The diving can vary a lot depending on which part of the Indian Ocean you visit and dive in. It depends on the ocean currents and what else you have the opportunity to see and experience. Even the time of year you dive can have a big impact.


Asia

When you think of the Maldives, most people probably think of small paradise islands, sun, sea and beaches. The islands offer a total escape from reality and the Maldives has really managed to retain that special magic that keeps many coming back year after year. The Maldives is truly a diving paradise and a destination that is on most divers' dream list. Manta rays, whale sharks, sharks and tropical reefs in a wonderful combination on board a liveaboard or from a resort rarely disappoint.

Sri Lanka is a fantastic destination for a relaxing holiday. This is an exotic, tropical island off southeast India. Here there is plenty for you to see and do. Sri Lanka is a lovely complement if you take a diving trip to the Maldives. Here you can discover mythical ancient cities, dense jungle with breathtaking flora and fauna, fierce mountain areas, highlands and sacred stones. Here you can walk along sandy beaches that are several kilometers long and overgrown with palm trees.

Thailand and Burma offer good diving on their west coast and what is most famous here is perhaps the liveaboards. Here you have diving cruises to dive sites such as the Similian Islands, Richelieu Rock, the Mergui Archipelago in Burma and more. Also known are the islands further south in Thailand. Hin Daeng and Hin Muang annually attract thousands of divers with the opportunity to see whale sharks and manta rays and other fish.


Africa

For many, just the word "Africa" ​​conjures up images of great adventure and wide open spaces. The destinations here South Africa or Tanzania with the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba rarely disappoint. Here you will experience encounters with large animals and astonishing areas that give a clear sense of a wild and beautiful continent. Both of these countries on the African east coast offer wonderful opportunities to combine diving with land adventures and safaris.


Australia
