Weather: Manado and Bunaken on the west side of Sulawesi have the most rain normally from mid-December to the end of February. Visibility often becomes clearly worse due to the large amounts of silt from the river that is washed out into the sea, so that during the rest of the year it is normally normal tropical weather, i.e. occasional rain showers all year round and mostly in the afternoons, evenings and nights. The marine life is good all year round.
